Amvets Successfully Hosts Meet the Veteran Service Officer Pizza Party Event (Thank You to VSO and Oven King Pizza)

Veterans enjoy a sense of community at Escanaba Amvet's Post #123 while listening to a presentation by the Delta County Veteran Service Officer (VSO) Dave Dziewior. The PowerPoint presentation provided information on resources, medical, and veteran related interests of the area. Event turnout was sizable and veterans left, not only satisfied with pizza, but also more connected with others within the veteran community.

Special thank you to Oven King Pizza who provided a special discount to help serve our veterans and the VSO who was our hosted speaker.

Amvets Post #123 is hoping to host a monthly veteran event to foster greater awareness of veteran interests/concerns as well as foster a robust community of military veterans and families. The hall also hosts bands and musical events on weekends (7pm-11pm), a full bar, dance floor, and plenty of seating. Join Today!
